WHAT THERE IS II
I. There is a rattling in the spine or in the heart
II. There is a death punctuated by a stifle
III. There is a drunken moment instigated by an itch in the fingers or
in the back of the skull where it sometimes numbs in the morning
IV. There are rearrangements, temporary moments of satisfaction,
cups of coffee drunk with less and less reluctance in the cold
V. There are things that will seem to have existed for forever but in
actuality been extant for days months or years
VI. I wrote this with more or less all of the lights on at 2:58 AM when
it was more or less 38 degrees only hours after compact talk
