PAGE BREAK

Time is supposed to go by slower the farther away you are from a center of gravity but I am 6’4 and constantly accelerating. I think possibly this can be blamed on laying in bed a lot, or hunching. I’ve noticed time passing more slowly but also more fluidly the faster I travel, either on foot or in a car and this is in fact consistent with relativity. Perhaps I could travel fast enough that by the time I returned you would be elderly and I would still be roughly the same age. It would be 57 degrees sometime in October and you would be wearing lazy clothes. You would ask me why I did this. I would respond, “I need to be somewhere other than where I am all of the time as fast as I can, but it’s just not possible”. You would nod and I would say I was sorry at least once, more If I’d been drinking and one day you would die but not that day.

Time is a fact and you are not supposed to feel it.
